Over the summer I was watching Cinderella 1997, the one Brandy acted in (it's all on youtube) and the above quote stuck out to me and spoke to my situation, my family's and the black community. Also at the beginning Cinderella sung the song, "Impossible" but later she sung a new song, "It's possible!" Then she watched all her dreams come true -> first her dream of going to the ball happened with the inspiration of her fairy godmother then later after some obstacles, her dream of marrying the prince came true.
"But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26) =)
Hey =) So I'm behind on sharing stuff again. I was busy and overwhelmed by a lot of things during session A (spiritual warfare. Stories later). But I'll get back in the hang of it this week. Just want to invite you to fast with me (and everyone else around the world who's fasting) this August. There's tons of reasons to fast and there's different kinds of fasts as well. After the Spring I was really burnt out and disappointed by my failures (how I failed to rest in God and to move in the way His Spirit lead me during the year. But God never gives up on us. We just need to pray and wait on Him to light the fire again. Letting go of the past and moving forward with His strength. It's hard for me to let go of the past... Last week God told me that He is pouring out "fresh oil" in this hour and the word He emphasized is "fresh" – meaning it's new. I know many in the Body are feeling out of their comfort zone right now because God is moving you into something new, bringing radical change, which usually means there's a faith walk involved.
Much of Eileen Fisher's words ministered and resonated inside of me, and there is one part in particular that I feel is for the majority right now: "You will come to know who you were called to be and why you are here."
I know He's speaking to many about this now, and a word like this comes with radical change as you'll read below. Some of you are going to walk into something so new and radical that it will be a sign to others to move forward as well. Your change will cause others to move into theirs.
When God moves you into something new – it's not always easy but necessary to walk into the fresh future and assignment He has for you. As you walk into the new, remember that He is faithful. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

I heard the Lord say, "That is My desire also; to fall fresh on you. I don't bring stale manna. I want to give you freshness – fresh visions, fresh dreams, fresh anointing, fresh strength. I am not the day-old God. I'm the God of the Bread of Life. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. I'm throwing away stale visions. I'm throwing away stale dreams."
He said, "Fresh anointings; fresh visions; fresh work; fresh ideas; fresh of My presence; fresh provision; fresh understanding; fresh wisdom – freshness in My Word; freshness in My presence. Fresh. Fresh."
He said, "In My freshness, there is joy; there is strength; there is health; there is understanding; freshness of wind upon the gifts. Fresh – fresh relationships; fresh alignments; fresh agreement – fresh."
He said, "I am taking off the old that would pull you down, and I'm giving you the 'fresh' – this will bring you the strength to lift you up. I am causing circumstances to come down and freshness to arise."
He said, "Fresh bread rises up trying to reach its full potential. I am putting the 'yeast' in you tonight – the anointing of My presence. And I'm going to cause you to come to the heat of My Spirit, and the fire of My Spirit, and bring forth fresh manna. For you have baked in My presence, and My presence will come forth from a fresh heart," says the Lord your God.
The Lord said "I'm going to release a cloud over you right now. I'm going to dry your tears, for," He said, "I have seen your tears in secret and I want to heal your heart. Pain would bring torment; disappointment would bring depression. My Spirit bares life. Let My Spirit bare witness to your spirit that I have come to give you a new life. Old things have passed away, let them go. Let them go, so the freshness can come forth by My Spirit. For in Me there is life."
Radical Change
The following corporate prophetic word was given by Eileen Fisher on April 30, 2013 during her weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado:
The Lord says, "Breathe in My presence."
He said, "Let My presence breathe over you. For," He said, "just as I blew over My own, I caused the Spirit of the Lord to come upon them. He made a way where there seemed to be no way, and so today I will make a way where there is no way, for I am going to do a new thing.
"My Body is going to go through a radical change – radical change. It will be so radical that the world will know it is My Body, for Mine will be so set apart from the world that they will seem peculiar. For I am calling My own to come into holiness. I am calling My own to let go of the past, for what was, was.

"Many of My own are living as if I have not risen, and they are tarrying in the garden, in the tomb. For have they not yet heard the good news? "I am going to address apathy in My Body, and I'm going to command it to bow its knee. I'm going to cause a holy zeal to rise up in the hearts of My own – to where their hearts will burn within them with a fresh fire. They will not look to one another, but they will look to Me, and only to Me, for they will come forth with contagious fire in their eyes, contagious fire in their hearts, contagious fire in their feet and their hands. The Good Shepherd Is About Your Business; He Has Not Left You Alone
The following corporate prophetic word was given by Eileen Fisher on May 14, 2013 during her weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado:
I heard the Lord say, "I am the Good Shepherd. I do know My sheep, and I call them by name. I am not the shepherd that comes and leads his sheep into confusion and doubt. I am not the shepherd that puts barbed wire in their thought life, nor upon their feet, to where they are misled. But I am the Shepherd of their soul; that heals their mind, their body, their soul, their spirit. I am the Shepherd that goes before them, but I am also the Shepherd that encircles them, and captivates their heart with My love.
"For," He said, "I am going to pour out My love upon you with 'renewness' – 'renewness' of your mind, My 'renewness' to where I come and renew you. The newness of faith, the newness of a thought life, newness in you, to where I said even in My Word, 'I have come that you may have abundant life,' and, 'I make all things new.'
"Some of you have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. And you have cried out, and you have said 'Lord, where are You? Where are You?"'
He said, "As I was about My Father's business, so I am about your business. Do not think that I have left you alone, to mind your own business. I have not left you alone. I am bringing you unto Myself. I am taking the thorns off of you, to where I will put over you a crown of favor. To where the favor you will need will be the favor you will receive. To where you will walk, and you will walk with dignity, and security. And you will walk with hope that will no longer be deferred so that your heart becomes sick, but that you will walk in My hope, My new hope. For I will not have a hopeless people who will think they have a God of abandonment. For I have not abandoned My own; I have adopted My own.
Learn To Rest In His Goodness
"Learn to rest in My goodness. Learn My facets: I am good. I am kind. I am gentle. And I am long-suffering. For I have allowed some circumstances, even around you. And it has to cause others to grow. It is not to punish you. It is to test you – to show your own heart before Me, to where you could come closer and closer, because you will be drawn to Me out of necessity.
"I will take you any way I can get you. I will take you out of necessity, and I will take you out of abandonment. For I have taken you unto Myself. I have locked you away into My heart. And I will not allow the enemy to come, to badger, to torment, to accuse you, and to accuse Me.
"Command Me to come in as the Lion of Judah, to call those voices to be still and naught. Allow Me to come in as the Resurrected One to where death would try to come in and set up housekeeping; but My resurrection will come and turn over the tables, because of My glory.
"Call Me to come in as the One who multiplied the fishes and the loaves of bread. I am the One who will be a financier and multiplier for all of your needs. Know that I'm about to move upon My people. For My people are coming out of a season of dryness. For they have been in the wilderness because I have been dealing with hidden sin. Not only in My own but in hidden places in the hearts of others.
If You Lay It Down, He Will Make It His Business

My ways are not your ways. Yes, they are higher. But I have seen your tears; I have seen your pain; I have seen the betrayal, and the hurt. But I am also the Eternal One who heals the hearts of His own.
"Give Me your heart, so I can start from the inside out. For I will take a stony heart – for it's been hardened and hardened by the world, by disappointment. It became hard to protect itself from pain. Let Me take your heart. Let Me cause it to become flesh, where it can beat again in My presence with love."

*Compassion*-> Deep awareness of the suffering of another coupled with strong desire to relieve it. To suffer with. I read that definition a few weeks ago and I realized what was wrong with me. I see. I feel. I experience. And I want all of US to act together to make a change. But then I look around me and many people don't seem to care. This makes me angry, mostly depressed. "What's wrong with people?" =( but then that question boomerang to me. I realized that people may not have the same perspective that I do. Vision is Power and with power comes responsibility. So it was up to me to act on my vision. Yes to lead. That brings me to another thing that's wrong with me...
"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”- Mordecai to Esther. (Esther 4:14)
At the Trayvon Martin teach in I went to the "Anti-Blackness" group discussion. I was silent the whole time but with tear-filled eyes behind my sunglasses. At the end Shariq told me he noticed my silence and asked how I was feeling. I told him I didn't say anything coz if I tried to I would just cry the whole time; either that or I would say stuff that wasn't on my heart, and wouldn't make any sense anyway.
+++++++++Good Mourning+++++++++++ I was feeling sad and sorrow is usually seen as a negative emotion. So I thought it would be better to mask it. But the more I avoided it the more it resurfaced. Then God reminded me that it was not wrong to feel sad. Those were not just my own emotions they were His. But there's something He corrected... so some people lack vision of stuff going on, others see but choose to look away coz it arouses too many strong emotions. And who wants to deal with that? People choose not to mourn because mourning seems like an implosion... really depressing. Which was what my silence was, killing me softly... paralyzing,... immobilizing me from helping myself and others. Useless. But God reminded me what mourning is, "it is an Expression..." Mourning is not meant to be an implosion but an EXPLOSION. A RELEASE. So God encouraged me to mourn: To weep, to sing, to pray (release my thoughts to Him), to dance, to write, to create, to fast, to do, to prophesy (speak life. Create light out of the darkness). To lift up my eyes because there is HOPE. To reach out coz I am not alone. God is for me and I have family all around me. And Together NOTHING is impossible! =D
At the silent march yesterday I was wearing my Kenyan sandles and I jammed my big toe into someone's shoe and it started bleeding when we were on Dp (lol should have worn closed toe shoes) so I stopped by the Jesus burgers house for some first aid. As I walking alone to catch up with the rest I started singing and all the thoughts that were crowding my mind were silenced. I was filled with Hope. CHANGE is coming. We are NOT helpless. The Revolution is gaining momentum. If God is for us who can be against us?? HAHA :D
