Hey Everyone!😊 So this is my first time logging back into this blog in 5 years! And it's been 7 years that I stopped blogging as consistently as I used to. Wow! Time flies quick but it's also been a long time at the same time. Anyway, I'm just popping back in here to say hello. Also I realized that I never told you that I kind of migrated to a new blog site on Wordpress: Destination SB. (Or did I?) That was at the beginning of a new season in my life... There's a few posts on there that you can catch up on... I'm now ready to commit to blogging again for my own growth and for the sake of sharing the journey. I still have a ton of posts in my drafts here on Blogger, and I will be referencing some of my past posts as well so I'm not done with this platform. So yeah, thanks for hanging in there and following my scattered journey.Subscribeto my new blog site to stay in the loop.

But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into. You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

My lil bro Moses sent me a text with verses from Luke 12 (which was also part of the Solid Life Reading plan - which is a free plan to read the Bible in one year on the Bible app. Check it out!) In my Bible it was titled, "Warnings and Encouragements" and I knew I had to read the whole chapter and yes it's both convicting and encouraging. Many things stood out to me but the one which stood out the most is the passage above. It reminded me of this dream my sis Flo had and shared with us on whatsapp on Jan 3rd:
"We were all in a very big house... then we heard commotion downstairs.. I thought it was the kids but went to check. Much to my surprise it was Charlene fighting with the maids. We had two of them... (she went to describe one of the house helps we had back in Kenya and another one who was my mum's relative)... They were all at the kitchen stove/cooker. It was a very large cooker/stove one of those 42'' inches ones... this was a mansion like I said... a big one. And the last thing I heard the maid telling Charlene... {She sent a voice-note trying to sound like the maid} "Mbona unamkataza na mama amesema anaweza kukula hiyo?" Direct translation --> Why are you refusing her/him yet mother (the woman of the house / boss lady) said that she/he can eat that?... {moving on with the dream}... "Then I pulled them apart had them both -Charlene and the young maid- go in different rooms. Then I asked Charlene for her version of what happened... (she also mentions some other family and friends who were also there for some reason). Then next I go ask the young maid for her version but then I woke up.... It was not physical really, just Charlene holding on to the sufurias in a protective way while pushing them aside with her body and they were trying to get what was in the sufuria (cooking pot)... I said food is the last thing we should be fighting over." [End of dream]
When I was thinking about the dream I read Deuteronomy chapter 6-9 and I knew that had to do with some of the dream. Then when I thought about it some more I realized that in the Bible, the Word of God is food (spiritual food) and maids are servants hence representing servants of God (his lovers and messengers) then what God was trying to teach me through that hit me... "We were in big house"-> represents "the promised land"... (God has blessed me so much this year) and to connect it with the Luke chapter above it... Though He has given me His blessings, I'm actually just a *steward of His blessings {* means: [noun] an official appointed to supervise arrangements or keep order at a large public event. [verb] manage or look after (another's property)} So the challenge is not to get caught up / too comfortable/complacent with the blessings and forget the main point of everything... It's not about the blessings, He is the main prize (Yeshua/Jesus) so he wants to find us waiting for Him dressed for action/ready for service and with our lamps burning which means seeking God by reading and doing His Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to fill us, to wash us and free us, to guide us and teach us [ you can read more about the role of the Holy Spirit in John 15: 26-27 & John 16:12-15] and also SHINING/SHARING OUR GIFTS/ HIS BLESSINGS.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:14-16)
"For we are His workmanship / handiwork / masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)
So in the dream, like Flo mentioned, it was not a physical fight, it was just me hogging the food in the pot ~ keeping it to myself and also preventing others from getting to it... and also in the dream I had my excuses which I told Flo my sis (the boss lady in the dream) when she came to separate us... And all this true in real life... God was reminded me the gifts He has given me... prophecy (knowing what's coming and what we're supposed to do), speaking up and just being myself... but yeah I haven't been myself coz of caring too much what *people will think when I obey God (*not all people mainly christians)... and I should say that again so that the ridiculousness of that statement sinks in and scars me for life lol...
But moving on to a sum of the lessons God was teaching me...
1.) I must always listen to God and do what He says regardless of what anyone else thinks and whether or not they listen. So we don't have any excuse for not obeying.
But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)
"And you shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or refuse to hear..." (Ezekiel 2:7)
2.)Stand firm and trust God in the face of opposition. Stay faithful. He knows I will encounter
opposition for what He calls me to do but He's reminding me not to shrink back but to move forward with my eyes on Him, relying on Him coz the conflict isn't physical.
“When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” (Luke 12: 11-12)
"And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.” (Acts 18:9-10)
"But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” He said, “But I will be with you, and this shall be the sign for you, that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain... Now go; I will help you speak and teach you what to say." (Exodus 3:11-12, & 4:12)
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 3.) Eyes on the Prize. It's not in vain. Jesus is coming soon....Jesus has revealed to me many signs of Beauty & the Beast: To be Human Again ] And this knowledge really woke me up and inspired me to live and to love... So He's trying to wake me up again... I'm also reminded of the Parable of the talents... Check out: Matthew 25:14-30
the times we are living in and the nearness of his 1.5 coming (His appearance in the sky then the rapture - when we go have a wedding banquet in heaven) and his 2nd coming (when he returns to reign and we reign along with him) [post:

1. Confess and Repent (means to turn) ~ The awakening process isn't always fun... realizing you've strayed from the right path God has for your life is sometimes painful... But God doesn't convict us to shame us but just so that we return to the right path... His is leading us with His love. His grace and mercy is enough for us so we can get back up and finish the race =) I must admit that I've been pretty foolish this past year and wasn't listening to God... and it's embarrassing and discouraging when I make my self face this. But I remember that God disciplines those He loves. So thanks Jesus for your grace and patience with me!! Now help me do things Your way which is the best way! Amen! :D Love this song from 'Out of Eden' and I'm making it my prayer: ♫ Forgive me LORD for I sinned, I have strayed from Your ways and need to begin again. My ways have let me down, LORD please would you turn my life around. I will do what You say, LORD have Your way!... I love You LORD, You're so beautiful! ... So LORD please take Your place, as my master, I'll seek Your face! ♫ =)
2. Spend time with God~ Talking to him, listening to Him, reading the word, worship music... As you get to know Him more, you will also find yourself more. And His perfect love is the one that will perfect us... He is renewing us each day. His perfect love drives out fear! I was watched the movie "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" yesterday on youtube and in one of the songs in this one scene said, "When you lose yourself, your courage soon will follow so be strong tonight, remember who you are!" And it's funny, in the movie, Spirit, the horse who's the main character says "With power comes responsibility." ...And yeah God does't need servants... He doesn't need us... He wants us though. He is Love and He created us to be loved by Him and manifest His love to the world. Jesus says, "No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." ( John 15:15) So it's all about relationship with Him... intimacy... yes there's lots of work that needs to be done on this earth but Jesus invites us to find ourselves in Him, our purpose and find confidence in how loved we are which is what will equips us to change the world with Him,... Him in us and through us.
3. Use the gifts and talents God has given you with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You are unique and beautiful! When we use our talents we are praising God for He is the one who blessed us by creating us uniquely. And we also bless so many others. (post: BLOOM!) And in the end, the only thing that matters is when we are One with Love and we hear the words, "Well done." :-)
Oh yeah, another major reason why I haven't been sharing is coz I got overwhelmed with all that I haven't shared already... I'm in a new season in life now so I opted to make a new blog site that way I can share narratives of the present without being tied down by the past, yet still remembering history and moving towards the future, so help me God!! I'm always taken aback when I'm referred to as an "activist" or also, "religious," -yes I'm puzzled and a bit irritated coz I'm not particularly fond of such labels (amongst others, but especially "religious" - that's one of my least favorite terms of all time, makes me a lil sick to be honest) since, in my experience, they [the labels] are used to separate the person/detach from the person... </3 *such an easy way out* rather than to connect or to understand. But if you must, then call me a "revolutionary" coz how can you say such a word without the intention of connecting or a commitment to understanding??... i wonder... Sometimes people are quick to usher out labels without thinking about what that label [which is assigned as a point of separation/detachment], is saying about themselves in contrast... (people may be calling themselves out without knowing... which is beautiful except for the "without knowing" part).... Anyway, I like "revolutionary" coz it forces us to acknowledge ourselves not 'apart from' but rather 'in relationship with' each other. Also, calling ourselves and others that ["revolutionary"] may expose the real problem on both sides: DORMANCY~> an uncalled for slumber, detachment from reality/identity/responsibility - and may result in an awakening,... a grand union causing an explosion... the same radical revolution being called forth by the appropriate labeling. Hey =) Happy October! =D When I was home the past one and a half weeks dad told me in a really gentle way that I need to ask God to help me out with my procrastination haha. And yeah he's right I've been all over the place this past year. He suggested that I use a planner (he said "diary" coz that's what we call them in Kenya) and write down all the things I need to do. And I used to do that, so I decided to do so... There's this 2 year planner that Diana gave me a while back so I picked it up and opened to October. And October is pretty special because IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! :D lol I actually share a birthday with my lil sis Olivia, yay! Birthday twins! hehe :D But I also wanna share some more reasons why October is special.
"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God." (2 Corinthians 1:20)
On the Calendar it gave a specific flower and birthstone. So the birth flower for October is Calendula and the birthstone is Opal. And you know how I am, I decided to look up the spiritual significance of Opal and it said that the color of opal is iridescent (diffracts many colors) and that symbolizes the promises of God.
This was quite on point coz I went to the prayer shed last night for prayer and prophecy night and they told me not to forget God's promises over my life and to keep my eyes on the prize... to keep my eyes on Jesus. To be consistent and steady in my walk with Him coz that's how the promises will be fulfilled... in His Time. And this was confirmation for what God's been telling me over the past few weeks, things I already know, and also what God's been telling me through others. And all weekend this song below, "Standing on the Promises" has been playing in my head (especially in the car this past Friday with Brittany and Alexis on our way to The Call at UC Berkeley).
I also read this from this one site... but when I kept on reading I found out that it was new-age-y so all I took from it was this: "Opal is a stone of inspiration which enhances imagination and creativity. OCTOBER 16TH: RELATIONSHIPS, UNITY, PUSHING FORWARD FOR VICTORY
Okay so this is really cool I just looked up calendula, the birth flower of October and saw this: Calendula means "little calendar" or "little clock" in latin and the common name, "marigold" refers to virgin Mary (Wikipedia). Sometimes called "summer bride" or "husbandmans dial" because its flower head follows the sun (Birthstone site).
That's cool confirmation for keeping the"eyes on the prize" word. Plus on our way back from Berkeley on Sunday we were singing in the car and Brittany suggested we just sing spontaneously (from our hearts, whatever the Spirit led us to sing), she begun then Alexis but I was just silent in the back seat thinking about stuff. Then Alexis was like "Charlene it's your turn, I think you have a song" but I was like "No" then a bit later Brittany was like, yeah I think you should sing a song about "Time." Which is funny coz it was related to what I was thinking/praying in my head so I decided to just sing... And I sung the prayer in my heart, "Awaken our hearts to your coming Son... [well I can't remember all the words but it was something like:] ... Awaken your bride... that we may be one... rooted in love... leaving the past behind... fill us with Your spirit... Your power... You are all we need... Give us Your heart for the harvest."
IT'S OUR TIME : CHURCH AWAKEN, UNITE AND FIGHT FOR LOVE
Something else really cool is about my birth day, October 16th, I was pretty shocked to see this post on Elijah List... it was encouraging...so honored to be born on such a significant day :-)
But before that, I saw this picture on campus the other day below the poster for "Images of Africa" and the same day the words, "The final push for victory" and "Together we go further" stood out to me from an email and in the bus respectively lol... bear with me coz it's related with this next portion. Read the whole thing at October 16th Prophecy I'll highlight some stuff and I quote:
"In this dream, the date was October 16th. I
observed Kathryn Kuhlman standing on stage... she began to prophesy:"All those born on October 16th have a special anointing. And
there's a special anointing being released to the Body and it's very
powerful!" The scene quickly changed and I was standing outside where I observed
ancient, black wrought iron gates. They were rather scary looking
because of their size and age. These ancient gates were perhaps twelve
feet high and thirty feet in length. They were attached to a black
stonewall on either side like a fortress. The gates had been closed and
locked for many, many years. As I looked closer, I could see thousands of people standing behind
the closed gates. In fact I could see no end to this massive gathering
of people. There were people from every tongue, tribe and nation.
However in unity, as one Body, they all worked together to push open the
gates.Then breaking through the darkness into the light, they
all ran quickly to receive this anointing Kathryn Kuhlman prophesied and
released. -End of dream. I believe this is an important date and new beginning for the Body of Christ. October 16, 2014 is a Jewish holy day called Shemini Atzeret. The Hebrew word "shemini" means eighth, and prophetically the
eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles indicates a new beginning for the
coming harvest. According to Jewish tradition, Shemini is the ending of
the holiday of Sukkot and the beginning of "Time of our Happiness or
Joy." It's the end of one season and the beginning of another.
Recently in two separate visions, I saw the Church awakening. Where
she was presumed dead, new life was breathed into her. When she
awakened, immediately she humbled herself andembraced Wisdom. The
evidence of striving, bitterness, unforgiveness and jealousy quickly
left her body. Instead
of being old and crippled she was strong, healthy and joyful. She was
spiritually mature and led by the Holy Spirit of Truth. She embraced
everyone with love and kindness, yet spoke with authority and everyone

I believe October 16th is a significant date this year as the
harvest begins in full swing. Christ in us (the Body of Believers) the
Hope of Glory, will be evident in the Church. The whole earth will be
filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord (Habakkuk 2:14) as
the captives are set free from bondage and the Church embraces Wisdom." -End of quote. hOW cOOl is THAT???!!! :D :D :D And there's more!
Sorry I'm just throwing different stuff at you... but last week I had watched "October Baby" on Netflix and it was all about forgiveness, letting go, healing, redemption, love, family and moving forward. Great movie! =)
OCTOBER: "Come Together- Remember, Reconnect, and Unite"
Okay, so I'm at school (My first day at Antioch Uni getting my Masters) so I stopped writing to go to class and on my way to class I check my email and this is what I see: "Come Together: Remember, Reconnect, and Unite" as the subject of an email from UCSB: "On May 23rd, the Isla Vista community was stunned by a tragedy that we will never forget. On the following day however, we came together in a way that our neighborhood had never before seen. The feeling created from the candlelight vigil is a feeling that we wish to embody once again. It is a new year for Gauchos and the Isla Vista Community, and as such let us look towards the future with positivity, renewal, and resiliency.The students at AS Program Board as well as other Associated Students entities would like to invite you to, "Come Together: Remember, Reconnect, and Unite." This memorial event is made by the students and for the students, and will feature student speakers, a message from Vice Chancellor Michael Young, as well as live music and special entertainment. Please spread the word and join us once again, not only in remembering the loved ones we lost, but also in solidarity to forge a better future for Isla Vista."
So what are some of the promises I'm talking about? Well here's one of
them that concerns SantaBarbara and the world... way back in 2011 when I
was in InterVarsity at that Leader's Retreat when we had some unusual
occurrences and my life was radically rocked and freed by the power of God's love
(post: Hello Africans... ) God gave many of the students there visions that confirmed the dreams that He gave the staff over the summer that a huge revival is coming to Santa Barbara (and the prophetic word that Kathyrn Kuhlman gave in the 70's that one day a huge revival would happen in SB and spread around the world (post: Let There Be Light) In the visions there would first be a lot of conflicts and division in our midst and even violence in our land but after that there would be unity in the body of Christ, unity in prayer and walking in love and that's when the breakthrough would happen. So it's really cool to keep track with God's promises coz NOW IS THE TIME! :D In a vision that Alex Jensen had, we were holding hands on a hill with the cross in the middle then our friends who were not yet believers were behind us climbing to the top of that hill. Right now in IV and at UCSB so many coalitions and new programs have formed after the tragedy that happened last school year... so many people are having conversations about how to better our community, living in peace and loving each other, becoming united... and all that is really great and exciting. And it's also a wake-up call for the church coz we know it is only through Jesus that we can have true and lasting transformation so we need to rise up and model that... we need to put Jesus back in the center of our lives and communities... we need to pray and wait for His Spirit to do only what He can do. We need to ARISE and SHINE! The whole world is waiting for us! Even the prison system won't be left unshaken when we awaken... post: Prison Break.

October 8th Blood Moon ("Little Clock, what's the time?")
Bloodmoon is happening tomorrow! I saw this article on yahoo news that says that this blood moon will be even more rare than the others, it's a selenelion: "Skygazers could witness the sun rising simultaneously with the total eclipse of the moon, a visual phenomenon known as selenelion. I was excited to read that as it reminded me of this Saturday at The Call which was on the 50th anniversary of the Free Speech movement as well as Yom Kippur (The Day of atonement) when the high priest would offer up a sacrifice to cover the sins of the people of Israel... but now the ultimate sacrifice was that of Jesus on the cross on behalf of all the sins of the whole world, once and for all. So when I read that the earth would have a red ring around me made me think of the blood of Jesus encircling the whole earth signifying redemption through the blood of Jesus... and also the earth being baptized by the fire of the Holy Spirit .REVIVAL TIME! :D I can hear the rhythm of the Lion of the tribe of Judah... He's doing a New thing! That's why we're singing a New Song! He's Alive!
"His eyes will be darker than wine... // These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes arelike blazing fire." (Genesis 49:12a and Revelation 1:1)
"I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." (John the Baptist talking about Jesus) ~ Matthew 3:11
So what the little clock says is WE ARE LIVING IN THE END-TIMES! And yes there's stuff popping up all over the place like ebola and ISIS :((, signs in the heavens, wars and rumors of wars </3... and yes Jesus gives us the signs of the end times to watch for in Matthew 24. So yeah, the darkness will increase but we shouldn't be afraid coz that's the BEST TIME FOR THE LIGHT TO SHINE BRIGHTER THAN BEFORE. God is with us and wants to empower us not just to endure but to THRIVE in these days! Go JESUS! Have Your way in us :D

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Okay here's some of the update: I couldn't make the "Come Together" event at UCSB but it was amazing to see the pictures and video clips people posted of it. And here's what was on the "Bottom Line" paper: "For the Isla Vista community, attending this event brought us together and helped us heal... There was a feeling of hope and resilience in the crowd despite the excitement over Jack Johnson, and that is what is most important. People remembered, and people celebrated, but most importantly, people cared enough to show up."

Jesus, please help us fix our eyes on You and follow You Forward! To walk by Faith and not by sight. To walk in unity and love and not in strife. To let the light of Your love captivate us and guide us to our destiny - to be who You created each and every one of us to be. That each of us may bloom and flourish as we find rest in Your Love and as we RISE UP and TAKE OUR PLACE. FOR YOURS! IS THE KINGDOM, THE POWER AND THE GLORY FOREVER AND EVER AMEN!

A Jubilee Moment: 50 Days for 50 Years
TheCall has been invited to the campus of Berkeley on the 50th anniversary of these historic protests, October 4th, 2014. Frankly, I’m stunned. For years, Luke 1:17 has fueled my imagination, always with the sense that the very culmination of my efforts might actually be a gathering at Berkeley—not to “protest the protest”—but to petition the God of grace and mercy for a breaking of the curse which rebellion inevitably invites. From that place, in the watershed of our unity, I believe a new sound will be released; a new culture will be birthed; a new ‘Jesus Movement’ that could sweep in a massive harvest of souls.
Therefore, with this letter, I am announcing that TheCall has set its face to Berkeley. The 60s were a turning point in our nations history. My generation was the student body of that day. Now we are fathers, and we must rise up for children with fierce love. I believe this event is designed by God to be a multi-generational appeal for that reason. Please note, it may not look like TheCalls of the past. We are sensing that we are to hold an immersive 50-day prayer push, well beyond our normal 12-hour event. Why? In hopes that a great united prayer convergence can serve to catalyze the student evangelization of California and the nation. It's time for a Jubilee, "Let My people go".
Please consider, even now, the invitation to stand with us in prayer and giving? TheCall needs $200,000 over the next few months to bring closure to our various relocation and transition costs, and also provide sufficient operating capital to thrust us forth with power and provision into the God assignments of 2014 and beyond. Please give generously for such a time as this: “to turn the hearts of the rebellious to the wisdom of the righteous.”

"Urgent Message for TheCall Berkeley Registrants"
Berkeley is where many agree the flashpoint of the great counter-cultural revolution of the 60’s took place on October 4th 1964. God loves Berkeley. It’s motto is, “Let there be light”. Now fifty years later, TheCall Berkeley is gathering to pray for something stronger than the rebellion and for Berkeley and the Bay to fulfill it’s original calling.
I am here at Berkeley, where 70 young people and adults have gathered for 40 days of fasting and prayer. Some of these students have given up a semester of college. They each have to pay $800 for their housing. Many are on soup and juice fasts, and some on water. They came here believing that their prayers could loose a new Jesus Movement and turn the hearts of the fathers to the children. I personally have left my family for these 40 days in what I believe could be possibly the most significant prayer assignment of my life. It's an agony and a glory. Many others are joining this 40-day fast across this nation.
America is in a time of great trouble but God's answer in the time of trouble is "Gather to me My consecrated ones, who made a covenant by sacrifice...” (Psalm 50:5). The Lord gave us dreams and understanding that this Call would be a Gideon's army. Gideon had to separate the consecrated and the watchful from the fearful and the half hearted. UC Berkeley venue is limited to about 2,000 for our gathering. While wrestling with this challenge, this morning I sensed the Lord move on me. “Separate those who have registered and will be registering by calling them to a covenantal sacrifice, to move heaven on behalf of the Bay, California, and this nation.”
When a plague had broken out in Israel, the angel of death was restrained with David saying," I will not offer to the Lord that which costs me nothing," Supernatural fire fell on David's sacrifice and the plague was restrained. Brothers and sisters, the accumulated multiplication of sin and destruction of human lives over the past 50 years will not be restrained by a crowd of spectators. I am not looking for a great crowd, who come to enjoy the music and the powerful experience. God is looking for those who are burning to see revival and will pay whatever price it takes. I believe God is summoning those who have a heart like David and will covenant by sacrifice and say, “I will not offer up to the Lord that which cost me nothing.” Therefore, with limited capacity and with this prophetic call that is on my heart, we are asking you for 2 things:
1. Registrants must give themselves to this 40-day season of fasting in some significant way.
2. Those who register and come should give an offering, not just to pay the expenses of TheCall, but also to move the heart of Heaven.
Some people may misunderstand me, but this morning I felt strongly the Lord command me like Gideon to separate the company. TheCall is still free of charge but we are asking that all registrants consider giving an offering prior to September 21st as a focus point of their commitment. I’d like to suggest $50 – a dollar for every year of these 50 years of a great turning away from God. Let the Lord lead you. Please know my heart is not to offend anyone, but before the Lord I am seeking a Gideon’s army, and sacrifice is at the heart of it!
TheCall is on the Day of Atonement, when we remember the shed blood of Jesus Christ and the agony of the cross. How can we plead the efficacy of that precious blood for our sins and the sins of our nation if we cannot offer ourselves in this season of intense fasting prayer and be willing to pay an intercessory price.
I was deeply moved recently when a man heard the vision of TheCall Berkeley and came to me with tears saying, “My daughter went to Berkeley, and I'm coming to pray for her” He then gave $5,000. This man understood this Call. How do you put a money value on the soul of one you love so much?
Again, I am deeply moved as I look at these young people fasting and giving up a semester of school for one chance to pray and pour themselves out for a fifty year jubilee, a turning of Berkeley’s ideological revolution, a great outpouring of mercy for San Francisco, California, and the nation, a new Jesus Movement, and evangelists and missionaries being thrust into the harvest.
We know that you are among the first to register and you already have that same kind of sacrifice written on your heart. Many of you are buying plane tickets to come. We are touched by your passion. Nevertheless, I ask you to be honest with your own heart if you are truly coming to be completely consecrated to God and to pay a price on that day, If not, we ask that you consider withdrawing your registration and make room for others that are willing. We had envisioned TheCall Berkeley with a capacity of 10,000. Unfortunately, UC Berkeley venue limits us to 2,000 people, however I believe it’s the Lord! It’s because of the significance of the moment. Thank you for understanding our hearts in this.
